I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX where I spent most of my young life surrounded by art, the beach and an endless supply of Tex-Mex food. By age 15, I found a fun and new creative passion for the Adobe Creative Suit. I taught myself how to operate Adobe Indesign & Adobe Photoshop, which allowed me to explore a creative side that I never knew existed. 

I began designing pages as the Entertainment Editor for the Mary Carroll High School newspaper in 2004. After graduating in 2007, I attended Del Mar College where I worked as the Entertainment Editor (2008-2009) for the Del Mar College Foghorn & the Editor-in-Chief of the Del Mar College Siren Magazine: Literary Edition (2009). In 2015, I worked as a page designer/copy editor for GateHouse Media Center for News & Design in Austin, TX where I had a unique opportunity to design for newspapers across the United States.

I currently work as a marketing and events coordinator for the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where my main responsibilities consist of designing marketing materials (flyers, catalogs, MailChimps, etc.), coordinating events, and website/social media management to name a few!
